This french stoneware atelier was at the beginning a hand-crafted and familial business found in 1875, along the central canal in Burgundy. The early 20th century, this burgundy area was known as the ‘Ceramic Valley’ with about forty factories with many know-hows and outstanding techniques.
Since 1875, this stoneware atelier began to make garden potteries with elegant shape.
After many years period of blank, the Manufacture came back to life in 2014 by Corinne Jourdain whose ambition was to perpetuate a historical expertise and to bring back to former glory those meaningful culinary objects.
And as you can see, there are an wide range of products for your rustic kitchen!
The process of coloring and grazing is done by hands.
That's why these products are so sublime! Right?
What is this product? It is a container for vinegar called 'vinaigrier' in French.
Manufacture Digoin 1875 is trying to continue the tradition of the past by producing these traditional kitchen containers again.
We had a fun time looking around every corner of the atelier.
