This plate series is inspired by one of symbols of French poets,Paul Verlaine. Didn't you already hear about his scandal with Rimbaud? As if inspired by his gloomy and emotional poetry, roses from the Digoin's Verlaine series are very calm and moody.

Digoin-Sarreguemines

Sarreguemines was a ceramic factory in northern France. It became famous thanks to Napoleon the 1st in the 18th century. In 1871, during the German occupation of northern France, Sarreguemines decided to create a new factory in Digoin, Burgundy, which was unoccupied. This is how Digoin-Sarreguemines was created. The company invested in innovations for new tech & designs, and quickly regained its reputation.Until the mid-20th century, it enjoyed great popularity.
